Scones - Savoury Scones

Scones ! My Girlfriend wants it and frankly, I am not a fan but what to do, Hell Hath No Fury if the Woman don't her Scones. Got all the ingredients for a normal Scones and she suddenly decide on making Savoury Scones ... lucky my Kitchen was able to support her whims.

It was my first time taking part in making Scones and it was quite an easy process. 15 mins later and we were able to cut the shape out of the dough for baking

 Enter the Scones ! Heh ... Gf commented not bad, no need to pre heat the oven. My Rowenta Oven can start from cold start and finish in about 25 mins 

 

At this point of time, the Oven Smell Great! I mean the Scones Smell Great ... I think this is the start of a wonderful baking relationship

 

and it's Done! ... I am not sure why it's a little burnt on the side while the top were ok. I used the Fan Heating mode ... I thought the heating process will be even thru out the Oven. 

Ok I am a fan now ... I enjoyed thsee Scones more than I could have expected. I thought I might just have one for a taste test and I ended up having 4 or 5 Scones. GF thought it was cooked too long and the Scones crust were a little hard. But I love it ... and She disowned them ... making me promise to never reveal that these Scones were made by her ... I had to take the full credits for these "burnt" Scones ... I don't get it ... they are nice
